How Old Is Christopher Hall (Stabbing Westward, The Dreaming)?

I figure he must be in his late 30's by now, but he looks much younger.
I can't find his birthday anywhere, so I was wondering if anyone knew how old he was?

How do some rock stars manage to stay so young looking? (I'm looking at you Mat Devine >.>)

He was in college in 1985 so he's at least 40+.

*Found it. Birthday is May 18, 1965

Where is the house in "Wedding Crashers," where Christopher Walken's eldest daughter has her reception?

This is a huge white house/resort in the first part of the movie, where Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson first meet the Cleary sisters. I'm not talking about the beach house, which is later on in the movie.

You can see the house at 3:45 on this youtube clip:

Please help!

Thanks! :)

“Who Could Be Blue?” Character/Sondheim Tribute

A fan made tribute to blue (and blue-wearing) characters from various properties, including a few of my own characters.

I recently read “Eldest”, the second book in Christopher Paolini’s “Inheritance Cycle”, which features a blue dragon named Saphira, and I absolutely love the character.

I also remember someone on the “Making of Beauty and the Beast” TV special saying that Belle was the only character in the village who had the color blue on her (her dress), so as to emphasize how much she stood out. So the general idea was that these would be blue characters that somehow stood out from their society (Saphira being the only known dragon in Alagaesia, Gusto Gummi being an individualistic artist, Bloo having the unique arrangement with his creator Mac, etc.). This is why you don’t see the Smurfs in here (they’re all blue!).

Accidentally forgotten was Gonzo from the Muppets, who would have fit this theme perfectly…(Oh, well…sorry, Gonzo!)

There’s also a theme of friendship, (Eragon and Saphira, Lilo and Stich, Mac and Bloo, etc.).

The song “Who Could Be Blue?” was cut from the 1971 Stephen Sondheim musical “Follies”. It would have been cast in a more ironic light in the show than it was in this video. It was replaced in the show by “You’re Gonna Love Tommorow/Love Will See Us Through”. This recording is from the 1998 “complete recording,” with the cast from the Paper Mill Playhouse production. The singer is Michael Gruber.

Please, no comments of “That character isn’t blue!” :) Some of the characters are very light blue, and some of them are only wearing blue, but blue is featured promeniently on one character in every scene of this video.

Actually, the Saphira from the movie version of Eragon (which I haven’t seen) wasn’t blue enough for my purposes, so I made her bluer. I read that the filmmakers decided to make her a more muted grayish color because larger creatures in nature tend to be more muted colors - despite the fact that she’s a magical dragon, and her last name in the books is Brightscales.

Of course, I couldn’t resist including some of my own characters -

Straightstripe the blue zebra-unicorn (listed as “Straight Stripe” on the credits, because the other way it put the “e” on the next line) and Y.C. the blue-trimmed white tiger from my graphic novel project “Camo”

And Rumples the blue unicorn and Ballad Quill the blue-wearing gryphon (along with Sondrew Hayne the human riding on his back) from my fantasy novel project “Escapia”.

Characters from my own projects are copyright 2007 Brent M. Parker.

Alex and Chris are performing Vovinam Form - Việt Võ Đạo Salem Oregon

The Martial Arts Discipline of Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao was founded by Master Nguyen Loc in 1938. It uses a combination of the traditional martial arts of Vietnam and traditional wrestling. He researched into other martial arts with the intention of combining specific aspects from the other martial arts into one style of martial art that would be suitable for the physical frame of the Vietnamese people, thin, but fast, flexible and enduring. He later named the combined martial art Vovinam. Master Loc grew up in the period when Vietnam was still under the French colonial rule. At that time, young men were either seduced by the French into y lives or they joined the revolutionary war against the French.

Master Nguyen Loc believed that the only way to free Vietnam from colonial rule was to train them to have a strong, invincible will for liberty and independence. That will would be produced by a strong body and a rational mind. Carrying that belief, Loc practiced diligently and researched many Vietnamese traditional martial arts as well as many foreign martial arts. Through his research, he found a new discipline of martial arts, which he named “VOVINAM”, understood as the “MARTIAL ARTS OF VIETNAM.” Since 1964, the new title “VIET VO DAO” (”THE PHILOSOPHY OF VIETNAMESE MARTIAL ARTS”) was added to become “VOVINAM-VIET VO DAO.”

In 1960, before passing away, Master Loc promoted his eldest student, Master Le Sang, to Grand Master. Since then, under the leadership of Grand Master Le Sang, Vovinam - Viet Vo Dao became an international martial art with more than one million practitioners from around the world.
The goals of Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao are to:

1. Preserve and develop the martial arts of Vietnam, applying the “Hard-Soft Co-development”.

2. Research and innovate new martial arts’ techniques to improve Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao’s technical resources.

3. Train disciples on the Strength, Techniques, and Philosophy

Strength: Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao will train disciples to have a solid body and strong endurance against obstacles and diseases.
Techniques: Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao will train disciples to have practical techniques for self-defense and just causes.
Philosophy: Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao will train disciples to have a rational mind, an invincible will, and a gallant character. Disciples will be living in a self-disciplined and forgiving way and become model citizens, and serve oneself, one’s family, one’s state, and mankind.
To achieve these goals, Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao follows five objectives:

1. All the functions of Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao are based on an established foundation: take Mankind as the end, take Characters as the goals, and take Invincible Will as the means.

2. Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao is an extended family, in which disciples love and respect one another. This respect and love will be the discipline of Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao, which will help the disciples to unite and honor the uprightness of Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao, serving mankind.

3. Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao actively participates in the education of young men and women.

4. Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao is independent of political and religious influence.

5. Vovinam-Viet Vo Dao always respects other disciplines of martial arts.
