3 commentsIs Christopher Paolini a good writer?
I've heard a lot of negative comments about his writing style and that he copied Star War's story, so I'm hesitant to pick up Eragon and Eldest today when I go to the mall.
So, should I get it anyways or are all the rumors true and Paolini is really just a lucky kid with a linear story line and his writing is mediocre?
I thought his stuff was a bit of a hack. it kind of reads like one of those role playing game books series like Dragonlance or something.

8 commentsWhat is your *real* opinion of Christopher Paolini, Author of Eragon?
Do you have any?
The intrigue is that he was very young when he started writing, not that he writes well, because he doesn’t. He has barely any original ideas and his books are stuffed full of purple prose.
Has anybody sent Christopher Paolini an autograph request? If so, what was the address?
I’ve been wanting to send him my copy of Brisngr for him to sign, but i’m not sure what address to send it to, can someone help?
http://www.christopherpaolini.com
I see no address at this site… Under 'Activities' there, I see links to fan sites. Under 'Author' is a bio and at the end these links given 'to find out more': http://www.Alagaesia.com [Whoa, this one put me right back to the site above], and http://www.Shurtugal.com [which IS different]…
I also suggest looking for the publisher's address on the copyright page and writing them about this, as that is most often the best way to get a book signed, outside of attending a signing Paolini may one day give in your area.
