Episode 2.03:

- Sam leaves to go on a hunt, leaving Brooke behind, upset to leave her because he loves her. He’s sad too because even though she says she’s going to miss him, Sam’s pretty sure he’s being used.

- Lorelai and Christopher argue about what to do with their eldest now that they know she’s pregnant. Chris wants Brooke and Dean to get married, but Lorelai explains that Brooke has decided to have the baby on her own and do it all herself. Chris argues about it some more, and Lorelai tells him to leave.

- Lucas asks Brooke for help with getting Haley and Rory to talk to him again (not really shown that he’s talking about Haley and Rory). Brooke says she doesn’t see the point, and Lucas looks at the band playing, thinking about Chris.

- Later that night, Dean goes to see Brooke again, and gets past the door. He tells her how he feels about her, and she’s surprised, especially since she’s with Sam and Dean knows that, and doesn’t quite know how to answer him.

- Nathan takes care of Haley, and Haley tells him about the accident and how she hopes the driver is okay, even though she has no idea who hit her. Nathan explains that she shouldn’t feel bad about the driver–she should focus on getting herself better.

- Lucas goes to see Rory and get her back, and though skeptical at first, Rory acts on impulse, and Jess walks into the room and sees everything…

does anyone know if they are making a film of Eldest, the second in the trilogy?
sorry think there could actually be 4 books, so its not a trilogy its a….????

Suggest you keep up with all the latest through the 'news' link and the 'newsletter' link at his site (link above) regarding movies. I didn't see anything at a quick look about any movie, though there was also a link to 'Eldest' I didn't follow.

Do you have any idea when the next book is coming out? And isn't it the last?

i know that it's going to be a green cover with a green dragon (it's on the website) but since he is still writing it, nobody knows when it's coming out

also, i guess you can assume that the title will start with 'e' and be six letters long since Eragon and Eldest are both six letters long.

oh and it is the last one. the series is the Inheritance trilogy.

Do you think there's some significance to the fact that if you replace the "E" in Eragon with a "D" you get Dragon?

Yes there is. In the book the original Eragon was a Dragon Rider, as is the main character. There are several parallels between the two Eragon's and their dragons.

my god, have we been waiting for the next book for a year now?

of the two brothers. i'm thinking the dark brother will be brought over from the dark side, and maybe his dragon at the end, to take on the last desperate charge.

like tolkein and rowling, paolini fleshes out the magical properties in a fun and thorough and entertaining way! are you with me on that?
